What You Need to Know

This Cardas Clear cable uses two 2.5 mm plugs. One plug connects to each earcup.

Each channel has its own cable from end to end. Inside are Cardas Grade 1 copper wires. Each small strand has its own clear coat. The wires sit around a Kevlar core. Air-filled tubes help hold the parts in place. A soft TPR jacket lets the cable bend with ease. Carbon-filled PTFE tape binds each cable run. Fine tinned copper and magnet wire form the shield. Cardas calls its coated and layered wire design Matched Propagation. This name describes how Cardas builds the wire. Cardas can also change the end plugs later when your audio system changes. Dual 2.5 mm plugs push into the earcups without tools. The Cardas 1/4-inch stereo plug connects to your audio gear. This 3.0 meter cable is built by hand in Bandon, Oregon.
