Rarest of all woods, this symmetrical, broadleaf, evergreen Myrtle grows only in Southwestern Oregon (Coos and Curry Counties) and the Biblical Holy Lands.

Complex Grain Structure

Denser than Oak, unseasoned Myrtle logs will not float. Myrtlewood has a very complex grain structure that helps absorb and safely dissipate vibration from your room or other components, keeping it out of the signal chain. Just place a set of Golden Cuboids under your home theater amp, DVD player, or other A/V device, and you've taken a golden step toward resonance control.

The Golden Cuboid looks cool, too. The coloring of the wood is unique, varying from a sedate, satiny gray to riotously, multicolored grains of red, yellow, and brown, with many burls and shapes in its grain. Each block includes the distinctive Cardas 'nautilus' logo.

Golden Cuboids are available in two sizes .618" x 1" x 1.618" and 1" x 1.618" x 2.618". Use the smaller size with lightweight components such as DVD players, tuners, preamps, and modest-size amps. Use the larger size with bigger power amps and heavier A/V gear.
