Clearaudio Double Matrix Professional Sonic Record Cleaner - Silver

Clearaudio Double Matrix Professional Sonic: Both Sides Clean in One Pass

The Double Matrix Professional Sonic is Clearaudio's most advanced record cleaning machine. Clearaudio built it for cleaning that is thorough but gentle on your records.

It washes, vacuums and preserves both sides of a record in one operation. You never flip a wet record, and every record comes out evenly clean.

The Sonic Option

Clearaudio's Sonic Option adds vibration to the cleaning. It loosens dirt from deep in the groove without putting extra strain on the record.

One Button or Full Control

Start the whole cleaning sequence with one button press. Or run each step yourself when a record needs special attention. An LED display on top shows the machine's status.

Quiet and Easy to Look After

Clearaudio says the machine runs almost silently, despite being professional equipment. A fill gauge shows how much cleaning fluid is left. Replacing the microfiber strips takes just a few simple steps.

How It Fits Your Record Care Routine

This is a wet-cleaning vacuum machine with vibration added. It uses record cleaning fluid, so keep a supply on hand.

It is a substantial machine, about 16 inches wide, 15 inches deep and 11 inches tall. At roughly 35 pounds, it needs a solid, level surface.

What it is not: it is not an ultrasonic tank, so records are never submerged. For records other than 12-inch LPs, call us at 800-942-0220 before you buy.

What Reviewers Are Saying

Jonathan Valin, The Absolute Sound: "Built like a tank and easy to use, this is a high-quality record cleaner."

Michael Fremer, AnalogPlanet (January 2015): "The machine is extremely well-made, quiet and seems to do the job as claimed based on the record I had cleaned on it."

Who Is This Record Cleaning Machine Best For?

• Large collections — cleaning both sides at once saves time on every record.
• Hands-off cleaners — one button runs the full sequence.
• Hands-on cleaners — manual control lets you run each step yourself.
• Quiet listening rooms — Clearaudio says it runs almost silently.
• Not for — anyone who wants an ultrasonic bath or a compact machine.

How Does It Connect to Your System?

• Set the machine on a solid, level surface and plug it in.
• Fill the reservoir with record cleaning fluid and check the fill gauge.
• Place a record on the platter and clamp it.
• Press one button for the automatic sequence, or run each step by hand.

The Double Matrix Professional Sonic comes in black or silver.
