The SONIK 1 provides satisfying bass for its size, but it cannot match a larger floorstanding speaker at the lowest frequencies. Add a powered subwoofer if you want deeper bass for movies, electronic music, or higher-volume listening.

DALI recommends leaving about ½ to 20 inches between the rear of the speaker and the wall. Moving it closer may add bass. Moving it farther away may improve clarity and soundstage depth.
