The center channel carries most movie and television dialogue. It also handles music, sound effects, and other important information placed near the center of the screen.

The SONIK CINEMA uses two bass and midrange drivers placed around the tweeter. This MTM design helps voices sound full, clear, and tied to the picture rather than thin or distant.

Two Clarity Cone Drivers

The two 5.25-inch drivers use DALI’s Clarity Cone technology. Their diaphragms combine paper and wood fiber to create a light but rigid surface. A special embossed pattern helps control unwanted resonance.

This design keeps voices and instruments natural while giving action scenes and concert videos real weight. Bass response reaches down to 46 Hz, which is deep for a center speaker.

SMC Essential Reduces Distortion

Each Clarity Cone driver uses DALI’s patented SMC Essential Magnet System. SMC stands for Soft Magnetic Compound. It reduces hysteresis, eddy currents, and other forms of distortion inside the driver.

The result is a cleaner and more relaxed midrange. Dialogue stays clear during loud action scenes, and small details remain easy to hear.

The ultra-light 29mm soft-dome tweeter delivers clear detail without sounding sharp or tiring. Its wide dispersion helps people sitting across the room hear a balanced sound, not just the person in the center seat.

Horizontal or Vertical Placement

Place one SONIK CINEMA horizontally below or above your television for a traditional center channel. You can also stand it vertically and use three matching speakers for the left, center, and right channels.

Using three identical speakers across the front creates a highly consistent soundstage. The logo can be rotated so it remains upright in either position.

Front Ports Make Placement Easier

Front-firing bass-reflex ports let the SONIK CINEMA sit close to the wall behind it. This makes it easier to place on a shelf, inside open media furniture, or on a speaker stand. DALI recommends a rear-wall distance of 0 to 20 inches.

A Perfect Match for the SONIK Series

The SONIK CINEMA shares Clarity Cone drivers, SMC Essential technology, and the same sound character as other SONIK speakers. This tonal match helps voices and effects move across the room without sudden changes in tone.
