The Focal Aria Evo X N°2 is a 3-way floorstanding speaker with a 1-inch Al/Mg "M"-shaped inverted-dome TAM tweeter over a 6.5-inch Flax midrange and two 6.5-inch Flax woofers. It is sold each, so a stereo pair is two.

The cabinet stands 40.75 inches tall and 11.6 inches wide, and each speaker weighs about 55 pounds. Focal rates sensitivity at 91.5 dB into a nominal 8 ohms, and recommends 40 to 250 watts of amplifier power.

Crossover points sit at 290 Hz and 2,400 Hz, keeping each driver working in its comfort zone. Front and floor-facing Powerflow bass-reflex ports and a single pair of binding posts round out this entry point into the Aria Evo X line.

Two Woofers and a Dedicated Flax Midrange

Two 6.5-inch Flax woofers share the bass load below a dedicated 6.5-inch Flax midrange, crossing over at 290 Hz so the midrange only handles vocals and instruments. Flax is Focal's flax-fiber-and-fiberglass sandwich cone, a different technology from the Slatefiber cones Focal uses elsewhere.

The 1-inch Al/Mg TAM tweeter, an "M"-shaped inverted dome, crosses over at 2,400 Hz. A front Powerflow port and a second floor-facing port vent the cabinet without the turbulence noise a single round port can add.
