Clear, Natural Dialogue For Your Home Theater
The Omada Center is a two-way, passive center channel speaker built for home theater systems with an amplifier or AV receiver already in place. It carries the dialogue, sound effects, and on-screen action that anchor movies and shows to your display, and it shares driver technology with Focal's Omada floorstanding and bookshelf speakers, so tone stays consistent as sound moves across your front soundstage. It's one of four models in the Omada line — alongside the N°1 bookshelf and the N°3 and N°4 floorstanders — built to complete a multi-channel system rather than stand alone.
Two Slatefiber Drivers Keep Voices Clear
Two 6.5-inch Slatefiber midbass drivers flank Focal's 1-inch TAM tweeter in a two-way layout. Slatefiber is Focal's own cone material, made from recycled carbon fibers bonded between layers of thermoplastic polymer, chosen for stiffness and damping. The TAM tweeter uses an aluminum/magnesium "M"-shaped inverted dome with a urethane waveguide — the same tweeter platform found in Focal's step-up Vestia and Aria Evo X ranges.
Rear-Ported Bass Reflex Design
A bass-reflex enclosure with two rear ports extends response down to a 50 Hz low-frequency point, with a stated range of 58 Hz to 30 kHz (±3 dB). At 91.5 dB sensitivity and a recommended amplifier power of 40 to 200 watts, it works with most AV receivers and integrated amplifiers without needing an unusually powerful amp channel.
Tilted Base Aims Sound Toward Your Seat
A tilted base ships with the Omada Center, angling the cabinet so sound projects toward ear level on a media console below your screen. Focal also offers an optional 45 cm stand for improved time alignment and placement flexibility when the speaker isn't resting on furniture.
Is the Focal Omada Center Channel Speaker Right for You?
- Building a Focal Omada system. Matches tonally with the Omada N°1, N°3, and N°4, so dialogue and effects sound consistent across the front soundstage.
- You already have an AV receiver or amplifier. This passive speaker needs an external amp channel rated 40–200 watts into 8 ohms.
- You have room near your screen. The included tilted base suits a media console near screen height; for other placements, the optional 45 cm stand fits better.
- You want dialogue clarity, not a stereo upgrade. Built for the center channel role in multi-channel setups only.
- One honest limitation: sold individually, with no amplifier, AV receiver, or speaker cables included — budget for those separately.
Setup, Compatibility & What's Included
The Omada Center connects to an AV receiver or amplifier's center-channel output using a single pair of speaker-cable binding posts — no digital connection, app, or subscription required. It is a passive design and will not produce sound on its own; you'll need an amplifier or AV receiver with an available center-channel output rated for an 8-ohm speaker. Included in the box: the speaker, tilted base, spikes, bumpers, magnetic grille, and a printed quick-start guide. Speaker cable, a mounting stand, and amplification are sold separately.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need an amplifier to use the Omada Center?
Yes. This is a passive speaker with no built-in amplification. Connect it to an available center-channel output on your AV receiver or amplifier, ideally one delivering between 40 and 200 watts into 8 ohms.
Will the Omada Center match my Omada N°1, N°3, or N°4 speakers tonally?
Yes. It shares the same Slatefiber driver material and TAM tweeter as the rest of the Omada line, so dialogue and effects should sound consistent as they move between channels.
Does it come with a stand?
It ships with a tilted base built for placement on a media console or shelf near screen height. A separate 45 cm stand is available from Focal if you need to position it elsewhere.
Is the Omada Center sold as a single speaker?
Yes. It's sold individually as one center channel speaker, since most home theater systems only need one.
What's the most common setup mistake to avoid?
Placing the Omada Center well below or above screen height without adjusting for it. Use the included tilted base, or the optional stand, to keep dialogue aimed at your seating position.
