Slatefiber is Focal's own cone material, made from recycled carbon fibers bonded between layers of thermoplastic polymer, chosen for stiffness and damping. The TAM tweeter uses an aluminum/magnesium "M"-shaped inverted dome with a urethane waveguide — the same tweeter platform found in Focal's step-up Vestia and Aria Evo X ranges.
