Focal Omada N1 Bookshelf Speakers - Gloss Black - Pair

Focal Omada N°1: Compact 2-Way Bookshelf Speakers Made in France

The Omada N°1 is a 2-way bass-reflex bookshelf speaker from Focal, sold here as a pair in Gloss Black. Focal built it in the tradition of its own bookshelf speakers, pairing finesse with a compact cabinet.

Each speaker uses a 6.5-inch Slatefiber mid/bass driver and Focal's exclusive TAM tweeter. Focal says it suits rooms of up to 322 square feet (30 square meters).

TAM Tweeter for Precise, Soft Treble

The 1-inch tweeter uses an aluminum/magnesium 'M'-shaped inverted dome. Focal calls it an exclusive never before used in a home loudspeaker. A urethane waveguide improves horizontal directivity for a better sound image.

Slatefiber Mid/Bass Driver, Made in France

The 6.5-inch driver uses Focal's Slatefiber cone, made from recycled carbon fibers. Focal makes the driver in France and aims it at a neutral midrange and powerful bass.

Rigid Cabinet and Front Port

An ultra-rigid MDF cabinet controls resonance. An aerodynamic front port keeps distortion low. A leather-effect front panel and magnetic grille finish the look.

How the Omada N°1 Fits Your System

These are passive speakers. They need a stereo amplifier, integrated amplifier or AV receiver to play. Focal recommends 25 to 120 watts, and nominal impedance is 8 ohms (4.5 ohms minimum).

They will not play on their own. They have no built-in amplifier, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or streaming. Focal's dedicated Omada N°1 stand is optional and sold separately.

Who Are These Bookshelf Speakers Best For?

• Small to mid-size rooms — Focal designed them for rooms of up to 322 square feet.
• Listeners with an amplifier already — they work with amps rated 25 to 120 watts.
• Detail-minded listeners — the TAM tweeter is built for soft, precise treble.
• Anyone who wants a compact pair — each cabinet is about 15.25 inches tall.
• Not for — anyone wanting powered, wireless or streaming speakers, since these need an external amp.

How Does It Connect to Your System?

• Place the speakers on a shelf, cabinet or stands.
• Run speaker cable from each speaker to the left and right outputs of your amplifier or receiver.
• Match positive to positive and negative to negative on both speakers.
• Sold as a pair in Gloss Black.
