Robust, Efficient 1000-Watt Amplifier

An upgraded electronics platform is based on the award-winning SuperSub X/XXL, using GoldenEar SuperSub-inspired electronics with Analog Devices DSP for flatter, more extended frequency response, boasting cleaner, deeper bass with lower distortion. The MOSFET output stage and improved implementation result in greater power-transfer efficiency. Subwoofer Level and Low-Pass filter controls allow easy optimization for home theaters, hi-fi setups, and living environments.

Optimized Driver Configuration

The optimized driver configuration produces superb detail, soul-stirring bass. An ultra-long-throw 10" sub-bass driver with computer-optimized ultra-stiff fiber cone and massive high-gauss magnet assembly offers superior transient performance for natural detail.

A 11" x 13" quadratic planar infrasonic radiator with downward-firing pressure-coupled loading extends usable bass performance to the infrasonic region. It approximates the near-perfect impedance of a well- tuned transmission line, but with superior transient performance and control. It also affords outstanding flexibility for room placement.
