No Compromise Center Speaker Designed for the Finest Home Theater Systems

At the very top of the GoldenEar SuperCenter lineup is the reference-performance SuperCenter Reference center channel speaker. It's the perfect match for large GoldenEar home theater and multi-channel music speaker systems.

This is an easy center speaker to place with your TV. Only 35” wide, the SuperCenter Reference includes four 5-1/4″ drivers utilizing the focused-field magnet structure developed by Godenear for the Triton Reference, the GoldenEar One Reference High-Velocity Folded Ribbon AMT Tweeter, and three planar passive radiators.

Unique Linear-Phase Crossover Network

The SuperCenter Reference employs GoldenEar's unique linear-phase crossover network with a fully balanced topology that reduces stray capacitances for dramatically improved clarity. It utilizes precision film capacitors and special internal wiring to perfectly blend the drivers for a seamless homogeneous sound.

Three Separate Internal Chambers

The SuperCenter Reference drivers are situated in three separate internal chambers. The chamber in the center contains two 5-1/4˝ drivers which run up to meet the tweeter and are coupled to the larger 7˝ x 10˝ passive radiator in the center. Two smaller chambers each contain a special 5-1/4˝ driver engineered for low frequency response, which runs up to 500 Hz, and is coupled to one of the smaller, 6-3/4˝ x 8˝ passives.

The GoldenEar SuperCenters series consists of high performance center channel speakers intended for the highest quality home theater systems. They are designed to perfectly complement and match GoldenEar's Triton Towers and Aon Bookshelf loudspeakers, both sonically and cosmetically. Their sophisticated industrial design is both attractive and functional, minimizing their apparent size as well as enhancing their acoustic performance.

These center channel models incorporate a D’Appolito Array of two newly developed long-throw 5-1/4" bass/midrange drivers surrounding one of GoldenEar's signature High Velocity Folded Ribbon (HVFR) tweeters. The 5-1/4" drivers incorporate spiderleg cast baskets for rigidity and minimal internal reflection, as well as GoldenEar's unique multi-vaned phase plugs (MVPP), to minimize cross-apex wave propagation interference. </p

They also utilize top-mounted pressure-coupled quadratic planar low frequency radiators that both extend the bass response while providing the bass/midrange drivers with ideal acoustic loading and damping.

Sonically, the SuperCenters offer the same lifelike, highly detailed, high-resolution, smooth, open, boxless sound quality that all GoldenEar speakers are famous for, with excellent low frequency extension and power handling capacity for spectacular dynamic range and impact.
