HiFi Rose built its name on streaming. The RA280 goes the other way: a pure analog amplifier, with no digital inputs in the path. Two separate mono modules use Class D circuits built around gallium nitride FETs. They give 250 watts a channel into 4 ohms and into 8. Damping factor is above 250, which keeps the bass tight.

Three RCA line inputs and one balanced XLR cover most sources. A moving-magnet phono stage takes a turntable straight in. Bass and treble controls give up to 15dB of lift or cut, and a bypass switch routes the signal straight past them. A mono RCA subwoofer output adds low end, with no crossover box needed.

Lit analog level meters track the output as you play, with a three-level dimmer for late nights. Dual speaker binding posts let you run two pairs at once, or bi-wire one pair for a cleaner connection.

At just under 21 pounds, the case is solid aluminum with rust-proof steel inside. It has the heft of a component built to outlast its warranty. It comes in silver or black, to match the rest of a HiFi Rose system or whatever else is in the rack. An IR remote handles volume and input from the chair.

Connect your speakers to either (or both) sets of binding posts and your turntable to the built-in phono input. Three RCA inputs and one balanced XLR input cover the rest of your analog sources, and a dedicated subwoofer output extends the low end. Bass and treble controls shape the sound to your room, or flip the bypass switch for a straight-through signal path.
