The Aperta SUB carries up to 80 pounds. No minimum is published. An isolator loaded far under its rating never reaches its working range, so a very light subwoofer may sit better on ISO-PUCKs. The platform is 10.5 inches wide, 11.5 inches deep and 1.3 inches tall, with a sculpted aluminum frame. Its shape lets it sit under the cabinet between the subwoofer's own feet, so the feet are not in the way. IsoAcoustics tested the design at the National Research Council of Canada.

Four carpet discs come in the box. On a hard floor the platform stands on its isolators. On carpet, the discs give the isolators a firm footing through the pile to the floor beneath, so the platform works the same way on either surface.
