Marantz MCR 60n: Compact All-in-One Hi-Fi With CD, Streaming and Phono

The MCR 60n is a compact all-in-one hi-fi system. It combines a 65-watt-per-channel amplifier, CD player, FM/AM tuner, HEOS streaming, HDMI eARC and an MM phono stage. Add a pair of speakers and you have a complete system.

Streaming Powered by HEOS

HEOS brings multi-room streaming and services such as TIDAL, Spotify Connect, Deezer, Amazon Music, Pandora and TuneIn. AirPlay 2 and Roon Ready are built in. Bluetooth can receive from your phone or send to wireless headphones.

CD, Vinyl and High-Resolution Files

The built-in CD player handles CD, CD-R/RW, MP3 and WMA discs. An MM phono input connects a turntable directly. The rear USB port and network play files up to PCM 384kHz/32-bit and DSD 11.2MHz.

HDMI eARC and Flexible Speaker Setups

HDMI eARC brings in TV sound, controlled with your TV remote. The amplifier can drive two pairs of speakers (A/B) with individual volume, or bi-amp one pair. A subwoofer pre-out adds deeper bass, and the unit is upgradable to Dirac Live room correction.

The MCR 60n is the amplifier and source in one box. You supply passive speakers, connected with screw-type speaker terminals. Marantz rates power at 2 x 65W into 4 ohms.

The phono input suits moving magnet (MM) cartridges only; a moving coil cartridge needs an external step-up or phono stage. There is no DAB tuner or aptX on the U.S. model, and it comes in Black only.
