The Room Is the Problem — This Is How You Measure It
Room acoustics do more to shape bass than any component in your system. Anthem Room Correction measures your subwoofer's actual in-room output at the listening position, then computes a correction curve — flattening peaks and dips while preserving beneficial room gain rather than scrubbing the room out entirely.
This kit supplies the piece that makes that possible. Each ARC microphone's frequency response is measured individually at the factory, and the resulting calibration file ships with it. That pairing is what separates a real measurement from a guess.
What You'll Need
This is the microphone-only version — no tripod is included, so you'll need your own stand to position the mic at ear height at your listening seat. You'll also need a Windows or Mac laptop running Anthem's free ARC Genesis software, one USB port, and an ARC-compatible MartinLogan subwoofer or loudspeaker. A USB-B mini to USB-A cable connects the microphone to your computer.
Use only the calibration file supplied with your specific microphone — the two are matched.
