MartinLogan's C8BXR is a retrofit backbox enclosure compatible with Motion-series XTC8 and MC8 in-ceiling speakers in situations where improved sound control is desired. For speakers mountied in drywall and solid walls, it reduces the level of sound transmitted through the wall by 20dB for a quieter homer.
