The Foundation F1 delivers the scale and authority of a true tower in a slim cabinet just over 8 inches wide—ideal for modestly sized rooms where the larger Foundation F2 won't fit. Four custom 5.5-inch aluminum drivers handle the low end: three dedicated bass drivers plus a midrange in its own sealed chamber, arranged with Floor Bounce Compensation for natural, full-bodied sound down to 41Hz.

The star of the show is the Gen2 Obsidian Folded Motion Tweeter S, trickle-down technology from MartinLogan's famous electrostatic designs. Its pleated thin-film diaphragm packs 3.5 square inches of surface area into a tiny space—fast, light, and low-excursion for stunning detail with virtually zero distortion. The Folded Motion Waveguide controls dispersion in a 90° x 90° pattern, minimizing room reflections while keeping the sound consistent in every seat. A hand-tuned McCracken-Vojtko crossover ties the 3-way design together.
