The Motion MP10 is the multi-purpose model in MartinLogan's Motion range. It uses the same Gen2 Obsidian Folded Motion tweeter and 5.5-inch woven fiberglass woofer as the Motion B10, in a cabinet only 5 inches deep. It is sold by the each.

The shallow cabinet is the point. A Stealth Bass Port lets the MP10 reach bass output close to a normal bookshelf speaker at half the depth. A wall bracket is included, and the cabinet's angled shape lets it mount flat to the wall or flipped upside down.

Why the Folded Motion Tweeter Matters Here

A pleated film diaphragm squeezes air between its folds, so it barely has to move. It keeps treble clean and fast. Because the MP10 shares its tweeter with the B10, XT B100 and Motion towers, it blends with them as a surround, height or rear channel.

How Do They Connect to Your System?

Speaker cable runs from your amplifier or receiver to the binding posts, red to red and black to black. These are passive speakers, so there is nothing else to power. For surround use, set your receiver's crossover for these channels at 80 Hz or higher.

On a wall, use the included bracket and choose the angle that points the tweeter toward the seats. Flipped mounting suits high side walls. On a shelf, the shallow cabinet needs only a little clearance.
