Musical Fidelity's beautifully designed M6s PRE is what the company founder and CEO Antony Michaelson terms "effectively a preamp without limits." Digital and Analog Inputs

The M6s PRE has an array of inputs suited to both traditional and modern music sources. It has a high quality MM/MC phono stage, allowing you to plug in your turntable directly without the need for a separate outboard phono preamp. It also has two XLR balanced inputs, three line-level RCA connections, and a fully configured tape in/out loop.

A digital USB connection delivers superb musical performance from your computer and other digital devices. The built-in asynchronous USB DAC capable of 24-bit/96kHz audio playback

On the output side, the M6s PRE offers both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA stereo output pairs.

Home Theater Bypass

The M6s PRE provides home theater bypass options on both the balanced and line-level inputs, making it easy to integrate the M6s PRE into your multi-channel system. It's simple to set up with the flick of a rear panel switch for each of the two input types. This mode passes the left and right front channels from a surround sound decoder directly through to the amplifiers and speakers without affecting the surround-sound system’s volume or channel balance.
