The C 3030 is NAD's Classic Series integrated amplifier, styled after the company's mid-seventies work. Dual VU meters, tone and balance controls, and a dedicated button per input sit on the front panel. Power is 50 watts per channel into 8 or 4 ohms.
That figure understates it. IHF dynamic power reaches 120 watts into 8 ohms, 250 into 4, and 390 into 2. Short musical peaks therefore have far more headroom than the continuous rating suggests, which is why the amplifier rarely sounds strained.
One of Everything, and That Is the Point
The back panel holds one of each input, rather than banks of them. A moving-magnet phono stage takes a turntable, and HDMI eARC takes a television. There is one optical digital input, one RCA line input, and two-way Bluetooth with aptX HD.
