Add BluOS Streaming to Compatible NAD Components

The NAD MDC BluOS 2i module installs inside a compatible NAD amplifier or preamplifier to add BluOS high-resolution network streaming and multi-room playback without an external streamer or power supply. Control music from the BluOS Controller app on iOS, Android, macOS, or Windows and group the upgraded component with other BluOS-enabled players.

Network, USB, and Bluetooth Playback

Connect through Ethernet or Wi-Fi to play music stored on a local network and access supported streaming and internet-radio services. The module handles high-resolution audio up to 24-bit/192 kHz, offers USB playback from a connected storage device, and supports two-way Bluetooth with Qualcomm aptX HD. Apple AirPlay 2 and widely used direct-connect services are supported through BluOS.

Compatibility

The MDC BluOS 2i is intended for the NAD C 390DD, Masters M12 and M32, and Classic C 368 and C 388. This is a first-generation MDC module and should not be confused with the bidirectional MDC2 BluOS-D card used by newer MDC2-equipped models. Installation requires opening the host component; follow NAD’s mounting instructions or arrange dealer installation.
