Pro-Ject's servo system allows real-time scanning with minimal jitter. Pro-Ject decided to make its newest generation CD Box a pure transport, because ideally the DAC electronics and the CD drive should be separated from each other to realize the best possible sound signature.

Capabilities and Convenience Features

The CD Box DS2T excels with CD, CD-R, CD-RW, and Hybrid-SACD discs. Its complement of digital outputs consists of 1 x co-axial (S/PDIF), 1 x optical (S/PDIF), and 1 x XLR (AES/EBU).

For convenient operation, a wireless remote control is included. You can also operate the unit via the front panel controls. A rear panel 12-volt trigger in/out makes for easy system integration
