Shielding Differs by Line

Connect It E uses a tin-plated copper shield in a transparent PVC jacket, Pro-Ject says; Connect It S uses a flexible polyethylene dielectric in a thermoplastic elastomer jacket; Connect It DS uses a helical OFC copper shield with a carbon-saturated conductive sub-jacket, for both protection and flexibility over the run.

The E, S, and DS mini-XLR-to-mini-XLR versions terminate in Pro-Ject's True Balanced mini-XLR plugs on both ends. The DS line is also available with a full-size XLR plug at the phono-stage end, paired with either a mini-XLR or a conventional 5-pin DIN plug at the tonearm end.
