Wired Hi-Fi Sound, Wireless Convenience
The T1 EVO BT pairs true hi-fi record playback with flexible wired and wireless connections. Its built-in, switchable phono preamp lets you connect directly to an amp, receiver, or powered speakers with a standard line input, and Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD sends record sound wirelessly to compatible headphones, speakers, or a receiver.
It ships with a factory-mounted Ortofon OM 10 cartridge, a heavy glass platter, and an 8.6-inch aluminum tonearm, with electronic speed control for effortless switching between 33 and 45rpm without touching a belt.
Bluetooth here is an output only: the T1 EVO BT can send record sound to Bluetooth headphones or speakers, but it can't receive music from a phone, tablet, or computer.
Three Ways to Connect, One Turntable
A Switchable Phono Preamp Built In
A switch on the back selects phono-level or line-level output. Set to phono, it feeds an external phono preamp or an amp's MM input directly; set to line, the built-in stage does the work and it plugs into any standard analog input.
The same 8.6-inch one-piece aluminum tonearm and factory-mounted Ortofon OM 10 cartridge carry over from the standard T1 EVO, with tracking force already set correctly before it ever leaves the factory.
A Genuine Bluetooth Transmitter, Not Just a Speaker
Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD sends your records to a compatible receiving device; volume is controlled by that headphone, speaker, or system, not by the turntable itself, since the T1 EVO BT has no way to reach into a paired device's own volume.
The wired RCA output stays live at the same time as Bluetooth, so you can run both a hi-fi system and a wireless pair of headphones from the same turntable without switching cables.
What Reviewers Are Saying
Reviewing the T1 EVO BT for What Hi-Fi?, Harry McKerrell called it "an excellent example of what a turntable of this type and price can be," adding that it "provides a relaxed, free-flowing experience" with a "warm, unfussy presentation."
The T1 EVO BT also won Sound Matters' "Best Bluetooth Turntable" award for 2025, with reviewer Marc Henshall noting it "combines true hi-fi engineering with modern wireless convenience. A Bluetooth turntable done right."
Who Is the T1 EVO BT Best For?
- You want to send your records to Bluetooth headphones or speakers — the built-in transmitter handles that without any extra hardware
- Your amp or receiver has no phono input — the switchable phono preamp handles that too, right out of the box
- You want a cartridge already installed and adjusted — the Ortofon OM 10 arrives factory-mounted, tracking force included
- You want push-button speed change — 33 and 45rpm switch electronically, with no belt to move by hand
- You want your records playing wirelessly — Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD sends them to any headphones or speakers you own
How Does It Connect to Your System?
With the phono preamp switched to line, connect the included RCA cable to any standard analog input on an amp, receiver, or powered speaker — no separate phono stage required.
Switch to phono instead to send the raw cartridge signal to an outboard phono preamp or an amp's MM input, or skip the cable entirely and pair a Bluetooth device to listen wirelessly.
Pairs Well With
Where the T1 EVO BT goes from here:
- Powered speakers — the built-in phono preamp and Bluetooth both work directly with a pair of powered speakers
- Integrated amplifiers — many include a phono input, letting you skip the built-in preamp entirely
- Audio racks — a rigid, level shelf gives the glass platter a stable foundation
- Record cleaning accessories — clean records sound better and protect the stylus
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I connect the T1 EVO BT directly to powered speakers?
Yes. Use the line-level RCA output for a wired connection, or Bluetooth with compatible wireless powered speakers.
Can it connect to Bluetooth headphones?
Yes. The built-in transmitter can send record sound to compatible Bluetooth headphones, with volume controlled by the headphones themselves.
Can I stream music from my phone to the turntable?
You can't. Bluetooth here works only as an output for record playback; the turntable doesn't receive audio from a phone or other source.
Is the cartridge already installed?
Yes. The Ortofon OM 10 cartridge is mounted and adjusted at the factory; you'll still need to complete the basic assembly in the supplied instructions.
Does the tonearm return automatically?
It doesn't. The T1 EVO BT is fully manual, so you lower the stylus at the start of a record and return the tonearm once it's done.
What's the warranty?
A two-year limited manufacturer warranty covers the T1 EVO BT.
