The Pro-Ject T2 W combines true hi-fi vinyl playback with modern Wi-Fi streaming. It can send the music from your records over your home network to compatible wireless speakers, music streamers, amplifiers, and home theater receivers.

The T2 W also works as a traditional wired turntable. Its line-level RCA output can connect directly to an amplifier, receiver, or powered speakers. Available finishes include Gloss Black, White, and Satin Walnut.

Wi-Fi Vinyl Streaming

The T2 W turns the signal from your record into a digital livestream and sends it across your network. Standard MP3 streaming provides broad compatibility with UPnP-enabled audio products. Selected devices can receive lossless FLAC streams at up to 24-bit/48kHz.

Wi-Fi provides greater range than Bluetooth and can send music to different rooms in your home. The T2 W supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi with 2x2 MIMO for a strong and stable network connection.

Simple Control with the Pro-Ject App

Use the Pro-Ject Control app to connect the turntable to your network and select a compatible playback device. After choosing a player, the Stream Control button on the turntable can restart streaming to that device without opening the app again.

Premium Built-In Phono Preamp

A dual-stage, split-passive MM phono preamp prepares the Rainier cartridge signal for both network streaming and the wired RCA output. Its circuit is designed for low noise, accurate tonal balance, and strong musical detail.

The phono preamp is always active at the analog output. Connect the T2 W’s RCA outputs to a standard line, AUX, or powered-speaker input—not to another phono input.

Sumiko Rainier Cartridge Included

The Sumiko Rainier moving magnet cartridge is installed and adjusted at the factory. Its elliptical stylus delivers a warm, clear, and balanced sound with natural vocals and solid musical detail.

The Rainier is easy to upgrade. You can install a Sumiko Olympia, Moonstone, or Wellfleet replacement stylus without changing or realigning the complete cartridge.

Heavy Glass Platter

The T2 W uses a 10 mm-thick glass platter weighing 3.7 pounds. Its extra mass helps maintain steady rotation, while the low-resonance glass avoids the ringing that can come from lightweight metal platters.

The belt-driven sub-platter turns on a stainless-steel spindle inside a brass bushing. Electronic speed control lets you select 33⅓ or 45 rpm without moving the drive belt.

Improved 9-Inch Aluminum Tonearm

The one-piece 9-inch aluminum tonearm provides improved cartridge geometry and lower tracking-angle error. Its integrated headshell creates a stiff structure with fewer joints where unwanted vibration can develop.

Low-friction bearings and adjustable spring-based anti-skating help the stylus follow the record groove accurately.

System Compatibility

For normal network streaming, the receiving speaker, amplifier, or streamer should support UPnP and MP3 livestreams. Lossless 24-bit/48kHz FLAC streaming works with a smaller group of compatible products.

Pro-Ject lists lossless compatibility with selected products from Pro-Ject, Musical Fidelity, HiFi Rose, Sonos, and WiiM. Check compatibility before purchase if lossless streaming is important to you.

The T2 W can also connect to your router with an Ethernet cable. A secondary stream provides options for some devices that do not support normal UPnP playback.
