Nd7 Cartridge Reveals Fine Musical Detail

The Rega Nd7 is a handmade moving magnet cartridge with a fine-line nude diamond stylus. Its narrow stylus shape follows small changes deep within the record groove. This helps reveal clear vocals, quiet background sounds, and the natural texture of each instrument.

Inside the cartridge, a powerful N55 neodymium magnet works with small parallel coils wound by Rega. The lightweight aluminum cantilever responds quickly to the groove. With an output of 5 to 6 mV, the Nd7 works with a standard moving magnet phono input.

RB330 Tonearm Tracks Records with Care

Rega’s hand-assembled RB330 tonearm uses high-precision bearings for smooth, low-friction movement. Its one-piece arm tube helps control unwanted vibration while providing a direct path for the cartridge signal.

The Nd7 is installed and aligned at the Rega factory using its secure three-point mounting system. This removes the hardest part of cartridge setup and makes sure the cartridge is correctly positioned on the tonearm.

Neo MK2 Power Supply Provides Steady Speed

The included Neo MK2 power supply sends a clean, controlled signal to the Planar 6’s 24-volt motor. Each motor is hand-tuned and matched to its power supply. This helps reduce unwanted motor vibration and keeps the platter turning at a steady speed.

A front-panel button lets you switch electronically between 33⅓ and 45 RPM. Fine speed adjustment is available in steps as small as 0.01 RPM, so there is no need to move the drive belt when changing speeds.
