"The Sound is Just Really Flawless"
High-Value Power, Connectivity and Sound Quality for Analog and Digital Sources
Rotel's A11MKII Integrated Amplifier with analog and digital inputs offers power, connectivity and sound quality for any music lover seeking to elevate their listening experience. Constructed around a linear power supply featuring a massive Rotel-built toroidal power transformer, the A11MKII delivers an authoritative 50 Watts per channel of Class A/B power into 8 ohms, and even higher power into demanding loudspeakers.
Exclusive Rotel power supply innovations and critical circuit layout provide physical and electrical separation to lower the noise floor and increase musical dynamics.
"Great Timing and Precision"
"The Rotel A11 MKII is my favorite amplifier in its price range," reports hifidaydreaming.comNovember 5, 2024. "It is a neutral amp; there are no spikes or V curves, none of that stuff. But across the bass, mids, and treble, there is great control of sound. With its neutrality, the amp can focus and exercise great timing and precision…. It has a firm grasp of the sound it is supposed to reproduce, and it helps speakers maintain their poise."
"The Rotel A11 MKII is a solid amplifier that does its job well no matter what speakers you use with it, it stays consistent and delivers sound well at all volumes," notes Ibrahim Mohsin, speakerfeed.comJuly 27, 2024. "It is a great amplifier to get and it will keep you satisfied for a long time… The built-in DAC is decent and most people won’t require an external DAC with the MKII."
"Is This the Best Integrated Amp Under $1,000?"
"Is this the best integrated amp under a thousand dollars?" asks cheapaudioman on his youtube.com channel. "I think the phono stage alone is probably worth three to four hundred dollars if it was in its own box."
He goes on to describe the A11MKII as "probably as high-end as you can get for an amplifier under a thousand dollars… The sound is just really flawless at the price."
"Overall, highly recommended. Really amazing amplifier, give you everything you need and nothing you don't. Really, I think, the benchmark for me or a reference for me under a thousand dollars."
Audiophile-Grade Power Supply with Multi-Tap Transformer
The A11MKII’s multi-tap transformer delivers power to sensitive low-voltage circuits and the high current amplifier output stage independently, isolating the signal path from noise and reducing unwanted distortion. This sound-first design supports fast transients and delivers an expressive, open musical performance.
This low impedance power supply has ample power reserves, which enables the unit to easily reproduce the most demanding audio signals. This type of design is more expensive to manufacture, but it is better for the music.
Designed with Symmetrical Circuit Traces
The printed circuit boards (PCB) are designed with Symmetrical Circuit Traces. This ensures that the precise timing of the music is maintained and faithfully recreated. The circuitry uses metal film resistors and polystyrene or polypropylene capacitors in important signal paths. All aspects of this design have been examined to ensure the most faithful music reproduction.
Love for Both Analog and Digital Sources
Both analog and digital sources get Rotel lover, with three line-level RCA inputs, coaxial and optical digital inputs, a Moving Magnet Phono stage, and aptX™ HD Bluetooth.
The built-in high quality MM moving magnet phono stage lets you directly plug in your turntable and start listening to your favorite LPs. No outboard equipment is needed, and the built-in circuitry rivals the performance of many stand alone phono stages. Whether you are just getting started with vinyl LPs or you already have a nice collection of albums, you will be happy with the sound quality.
Built-in Headphone Amplifier
Not only does the A11MKII do a fantastic job with your speakers, it also provides an option for less conspicuous music playback. An 1/8” headphone jack with dedicated headphone amplifier circuit is provided on the front panel for private listening sessions. Unlike many manufacturers who toss-in a headphone jack as an afterthought, the headphone section is well thought-out and carefully tuned for top performance.
Intuitive Front Panel
The intuitive front panel layout includes Bass, Treble, and Balance rotary controls and source input selection ensuring the A11MKII is personal and a pleasure to operate up close. The included IR remote drives a motorized analog volume controller for ease of use at the listening position.
User friendly features such as a detachable IEC power cord, two 12V trigger outputs, heavy 5-way speaker binding posts, and signal sensing auto power on/off functions ensure compatibility with any installation.
The A11MKII is available in both black and silver finishes.
