Nothing Encloses the Electronics

No back, no sides, no doors. Warm air leaves a component upward and sideways into open air, which no closed cabinet can offer whatever is cut into its panels, and cables reach the back of everything without a struggle.

The floating platforms help here in a way that is easy to miss. Each one stands clear of the shelf below it on its four cones, so there is a layer of air underneath every component as well as all around it.
