The aptly named VL-3 Three Shelf Modular Vinyl Library Rack doesn't just hold your hold your stuff. It provides isolation features that can actually improve vinyl playback performance.

The resurgence of vinyl has made LPs the medium of choice for countless music lovers. Whether you already have a large collection of record albums, or you're just getting your feet wet, Solidsteel's new VL Series product line is an ideal all-in-one solution. The double-width design is unique and can be especially convenient for 'spreading out' your gear and your records if you have that extra bit of floor space. And because the VL Series is modular, you can add or subtract shelves as your needs grow or shrink.

Superior Storage Space

The VL-3 boasts the perfect amount of storage space for many vinyl enthusiasts. Overall dimensions are 28" high, 50.4" wide, and 16.1" deep. The top shelf measures 50.4" wide and 16.1" deep, and with a weight capacity of 264.5 lb., it will accommodate your turntable plus another piece of gear. The two lower shelves are 50.4" wide and 16.1" deep with usable space of 18.9" wide (x 2) and a weight capacity of 264.5 lb. per shelf.

The usable vertical space between the top shelf and shelf #2 is 8.8". The usable vertical space between shelf #2 and shelf #3 (the bottom shelf, featuring LP storage) is 12.8" to easily accommodate your record albums.

And speaking of record albums, the bottom shelf will hold around 200 LPs in its two sections.

Construction Specifics

The materials used in the VL-3 are finely crafted and carefully selected, and the rack is Italian-built. The frame consists of parts used in Solidsteel's famous S Series component racks. The support posts are made of anodized aluminum and are filled with an absorbent material to dampen vibrations. The screws are galvanized. Various metal parts, including the bottom and top ends, are galvanized and finished in powder-coating to avoid the risk of rust over time.

The extremely rigid shelves are made of 0.9"-thick MDF finished with high quality polymeric laminates in your choice of black or walnut finish.

Vibration Damping

Solidsteel's adjustable stainless steel spike feet are included for another degree of isolation and to provide convenient leveling. Protective floor discs are also included. All the hardware frame parts use inner spikes that increase vibration damping, isolating your gear from room resonance for a nice upgrade in the listening experience.
