The T1 series from Pro-Ject Audio is a product line carefully designed to deliver true high-fidelity sound on a more limited budget. T1 turntables feature premium materials, stylish aesthetics, and a rich, lively sound.
The stylish CNC-machined plinth, available in High Gloss Black, Satin White, or Satin Walnut finishes, features no plastic parts and is carefully manufactured to eliminate any hollow spaces inside, completely eliminating unwanted vibrations within the chassis.
Carrying this philosophy through the design, the glass platter is also a heavy, zero-resonance design, which avoids the sonic limitations of plastic or lightweight steel designs. It is a heavy 8mm-thick blasted-glass platter with an audiophile felt mat. The purpose-chosen turntable feet also do a good job of isolating the T1 BT from ambient vibrations around your hi-fi system.
Pushing Audiophile Design to a New Affordable Level
In the T1 BT, the motor drives a belt-system, attached to a newly designed sub-platter, which is mounted into an ultra-precise 0.001mm tolerance main bearing with a hardened steel axle and brass bushing. This system is the same one that Pro-Ject uses in its coveted Essential III turntables.
The combination of this main bearing with the chosen motor system ensures that the T1 BT provides a smooth, anti-resonant rotational platform for the tonearm and cartridge to travel across.
The T1 BT doesn't just do a faithful job with your LPs. It plays your 45 rpm vinyl records, too. The manual speed change is convenient, quick, and easy.
Built-in Phono Preamp
Stepping up from the basic T1 model, the T1 BT includes a built-in, Pro-Ject designed, high-quality MM moving magnet phono stage. This allows you to connect the T1 BT directly to the line-level input of a receiver or integrated amp without the need for an outboard phono preamp.
Built-in Bluetooth Transmitter
The T1 BT comes equipped with a built-in Bluetooth transmitter. This allows you to easily connect your T1 BT wirelessly via Bluetooth to any Bluetooth-capable speakers or headphones! You can use both Bluetooth and RCAs outputs at the same time, too, for a simultaneous wired and wireless connection.
New 8.6" Aluminum Tonearm
The tonearm on the T1 BT is a new model for the T1 series, based on previous Pro-Ject designs. With its straight, 8.6" effective length and stiff aluminum construction, this one-piece tonearm also features low-friction bearings for absolute accuracy in use. Besides have a clean and stylish look, the integrated headshell won't cause any additional vibrations, and is a huge improvement over the detachable, screwed-on or glued-on headshells found in most similarly priced turntables.
Includes an Ortofon OM 5E Cartridge and Oodles of Accessories
The T1 BT is supplied with a factory installed Ortofon OM 5E Moving Magnet cartridge, which features an elliptical diamond stylus tip. This is a true hi-fi playback system with no corners cut. The T1 BT is then finished with super shielded, semi-symmetrical, low-capacitance phono cable, purpose-designed by Pro-Ject – not a basic off-the shelf RCA cable.
The T1 BT comes with a treasure trove of useful accessories, including a dust cover, a felt mat for the platter, Pro-Ject's Connect it E phono cable, an adapter for 7" singles, and even a stylus pressure gauge.
