Classic Performance with a Brand New Look

The T/5x reduces the classic 'cube' subwoofer to its bare essence. A single, high quality AlloyFibre™ composite driver and down firing orientation produces maximum coupling with the floor and eliminates the need for a grille. Power output is 125 watts RMS, but thanks to REL engineering, it sounds immensely more powerful.

A huge advantage of the T/5x is its installation flexibility. You can either use various wired connections, or you can go wireless with REL's full-throttle, zero-compression Arrow system. No matter how you configure your REL, it is a superior choice for home theater, multi-channel music, and two-channel stereo hi-fi.

The T/5x is the purest expression of REL. The company began by updating its classic 8" bass engine to a high quality AlloyFibre™ composite driver, which reduces mass, while greatly increasing stiffness. This improvement led to upgrading cabinet dimensions and wall thickness to better control the deep bass. Additional upgrades extended even into the design of the sub feet, resulting in greater speed and solidity to the presentation of sound.

The "T/x" subs use the same Class A/B power amplifier sections with large, high current power supplies, precision-wound transformers, and an amazing reliability record that has powered some 100,000 RELs. Zero-Compression Wireless with Arrow

Arrow™ is REL’s latest generation of zero-compression wireless, allowing you to go without cabling and connect by clean hi-res wi-fi instead (requires optional Arrow transmitter/receiver, sold separately). Super fast delivery of both High Level Bass and .1/ LFE with the Arrow wireless technology ensures the rich, natural warmth that only RELs can deliver. With a range of some 45-feet, Arrow permits flexible placement without sacrificing sound quality.
