Advanced Materials and Design

Developed from Sennheiser's award-winning HD600 headphones, the HD650 uses improved materials all around for superior sound reproduction. The design starts with hand-selected, matched transducers fitted with computer-optimized magnets and extremely lightweight aluminum voice coils, all of which ensure sonic accuracy and fast transient response. A specially developed acoustic silk provides uniform damping over the entire frequency range and minimizes harmonic distortion.

Extremely Natural, Spatial Sound

To listen to the HD650 is to be enveloped by extremely natural, spatial sound. Music is crisp and balanced with excellent deep bass reproduction and an overall sound that is non-fatiguing, even over extended listening sessions. Deep bass reproduction is complemented by exceedingly authentic voice reproduction and a pleasantly natural treble.

Very Comfortable, Too

In addition to its superior sound, the HD650 is extremely comfortable, too, thanks to the elliptical earpiece design that's adapted to the shape of the ears. The detachable connecting cable is made from highly conductive OFC copper and is Kevlar-reinforced with very low handling noise. The 1/4-inch plug fits full-size SACD players and other home A/V components, while the included mini-plug adapter makes the Sennheiser great for portables.
