Replacement Shelf-Support Posts for Solidsteel S3-Series Racks

Adding an extra inner shelf to your Solidsteel S3-Series component rack? Then you need this kit, consisting of four 8.9" support posts – or 'poles,' as Solidsteel calls them – plus necessary hardware.

These posts are also useful if your S3 rack has 9.6" support posts between one or more shelves and you wish to change the supports for those shelves to 8.9" posts.

Please note that this product consists of posts and hardware only. The S3 shelf is optional, sold separately as 'Solidsteel S3 Inner Shelf - No Poles Included.'

Strong, Aluminum Construction

These 8.9" posts are made from non-welded tubular aluminum, and a set of four will support up to 130 lb. Aluminum is lighter than steel, ridiculously strong, non-magnetic, and an excellent damping material. By eliminating welding from the equation, S3 racks eliminate resonances that develop in hollow welded posts. Unwanted energy and vibrations cannot seep into your rack.

And speaking of damping, the aluminum supports are filled with damping material to reduce resonance and room vibrations that can compromise the quality of music reproduction.

Compatibility

This kit for S3-Series rack is made by Solidsteel and is compatible with the S3-2, S3-3, S3-4, and S3-5 audio racks. Installation is easy using the included threaded post support hardware.
