The VPI Cherry Isolation Base has been designed to the same dimensions and specs as VPI's original TNT Stand Base, which are 27" x 21" x 2.25". This is ample space for all but the most humungous turntable without being so large as to overwhelm your AV furniture.
This isolation platform isn't a lightweight. The base weighs in at 48 pounds plus the weight of the feet, so it massive enough to provide rock-solid support for your turntable. The design has been elevated with proprietary damping and assembly process as well as HW-40 Isolation feet.

The HW-40 feet contribute to the performance edge the Cherry Isolation Base gives to your turntable. These feet have proven to be VPI's best isolators without breaking the bank. In fact, they are the same isolation feet used on VPI’s five-figure anniversary edition HW40 turntable and offer "supreme balance and dampening." These low profile feet are highly attractive to and add to the pleasing appearance of the isolation base.
