Carpet Discs That Give the GAIA II Neo a Solid Floor

The IsoAcoustics Carpet Discs for GAIA II Neo are sold as a set of four, one for each GAIA II Neo isolator under a speaker. They are made for thick or padded carpet, where the isolator's lower foot would otherwise sink into the pile instead of standing on the floor.

Each disc has a recessed top that locates the GAIA II Neo foot and three 0.6-inch spikes underneath. The spikes pass through the carpet to the solid floor, so the isolator works on the surface it was designed for.

Each disc is solid stainless steel, 2.6 inches across and 0.9 inches tall, and a set of four is rated for 120 pounds, the same as the GAIA II Neo. The recess fits the GAIA II Neo foot only, so choose the disc that matches your isolator. It adds under an inch of height, spikes included.

How Do You Fit Them?

Install the GAIA II Neo isolators first and set the speaker in its final position. Then tilt one side of the speaker, slip a disc under each raised foot, and lower it. Repeat on the other side. Most carpet compresses enough for the spikes to reach the floor, and IsoAcoustics says the discs still support the isolators if they do not.
