The IsoAcoustics GAIA II Neo is sold as a set of four, in black or dark chrome, and every speaker takes one set. It carries a floorstanding speaker or subwoofer of up to 120 pounds. The feet screw into the inserts the factory spikes came out of, and the height adjusts once the speaker is in place.

A floorstander pushes its own energy into the floor, and the floor pushes it back into the cabinet. IsoAcoustics designs the GAIA Neo to manage that energy inside the foot. The housing is fixed to the speaker, and only the lower isolator touches the floor.

A set of four GAIA II Neo carries 120 pounds, so each foot handles 30. No minimum is published. A foot carrying far less than its rating never reaches its working range. A 150-pound speaker belongs on the GAIA I Neo and a 60-pound speaker on the GAIA III Neo. The IsoAcoustics online weight selector sorts this by weight.

Each foot is 2.6 inches across and 2 inches tall, in a metal housing finished in black or dark chrome. Turning the lower ring moves it up to 0.34 inches, so you level the speaker once it is standing. An O-ring seats the housing flush against the speaker base. The lower isolator pivots to stay in full contact on a floor that is out of true. Floor sliders with felt pads come in the box, so the speaker slides into place on carpet or hardwood before you level it.

How Do You Set Them Up?

Unscrew the factory spikes and match the thread. One side of the adaptor goes into the speaker and the other into the Neo housing. Screw each foot in until the O-ring seats flush, with the logo facing your seat. Set the sliders under the feet, push the speaker into position, then tilt one side at a time to remove them.

Turn each lower ring to level the cabinet. On thick carpet, the matching carpet discs give each foot a solid surface to stand on. Check that the logos still face forward, and play.
