Each Damp it carries up to 5 kilograms (11 pounds), and four carry 20 kilograms (44 pounds). No minimum is published, but a foot loaded far under its rating never reaches its working range. Pro-Ject makes them for bookshelf speakers and for the stock feet of turntables, disc players and tube amps.

The foot is 42 millimeters across and 12.7 millimeters tall, so it adds half an inch of height. Pro-Ject says it must touch the speaker or the component's feet directly, with nothing in between. It also warns that the material can react with or stain some finishes.

How Do You Set Them Up?

Check that the speaker or component weighs 44 pounds or less. Set one foot on the shelf under each corner of a speaker, or under each of the component's original feet. Nothing goes between the foot and what it carries. Lower the speaker or component onto the feet and check that it sits level.
