Damp-It offers similar characteristics to its superior big brother, Absorb-It, but without the premium aluminum casing.

Damp-It is designed to be placed underneath bookshelf speakers or under the stock feet of sensitive equipment such as turntables, disc players, tube amplifiers, and other components. Damp-It prevents transmission of vibration when positioned on resonant surfaces like glass, metal, or thin wood panels. These surfaces typically receive mechanical energy from speakers or subwoofers or from the low frequency emissions from road traffic and transformers.

Speaker cabinets and almost all stock feet of AV gear are not designed to isolate them from the frequency ranges that can compromise their performance. When Damp-It is used for both bookshelf speakers and your turntable, you can play your music up to 30% louder without the risk of acoustical feedback.

Damp-It consists of high tech synthetic rubber material that dampens a wide frequency range from infrasonic to 500 Hz and therefore effectively prevents transmission of structure-born sound.
