What You Need to Know
Tame the Clutter
Every audio fan has the same pile somewhere. Stylus brushes. A record clamp. Three remotes — one for the receiver, one for the streamer, one you can't even find. Spare RCA cables. A few USB drives. Maybe a cleaning cloth or two.
Right now, that pile is on the floor. Or in a junk drawer in the kitchen. Or scattered on the couch. None of it is where you actually use it — next to your gear.
The Duo Drawer fixes that. It slides into your Vulcan rack and gives you a clean, accessible home for the small stuff. Out of sight, but right where you need it.
The Trick: It Doesn't Cost You a Shelf
Most storage drawers replace a shelf. Not this one. The Duo is only 2 inches tall — so it tucks under any existing shelf and still leaves 4.25 inches of clearance above for your gear.
That's plenty of room for slim components — a streamer, a phono preamp, a DAC, even a CD player. So the shelf above the drawer keeps doing its job. You get storage AND a useful component shelf in the same spot.
Need bigger storage? Pangea also makes a deeper Penta drawer (5.75" tall). The Penta gives you more room but takes the shelf above out of service. Pick the Duo if you want both.
Smooth Pull, Full Reach
This isn't a flimsy plastic drawer. The Duo rides on real steel ball bearings, so it pulls open smoothly even when loaded.
And here's a small but smart detail: the drawer uses a triple-slider bracket. That means when you pull it open, you can reach almost the entire depth of the drawer — not just the front third. Nothing gets stuck in the back.
There's also a 1.5" hole centered at the back of the drawer. Run a power cord through it for a charger or wall-wart power supply. The drawer becomes a hidden home for whatever needs to stay plugged in.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will I lose a shelf when I install the Duo Drawer?
No. The Duo is only 2 inches tall, so it tucks under any existing shelf without taking the shelf out of service. You'll still have 4.25 inches of clearance above the drawer — enough room for a streamer, DAC, phono preamp, or other slim component.
What's the difference between the Duo and Penta drawers?
Just the height. The Duo is 2 inches tall — small enough to tuck under any shelf, including the bottom one. The Penta is 5.75 inches tall — taller, holds bigger stuff, but takes the shelf above out of service. Pick the Duo if you want both storage AND a working shelf above. Pick the Penta if you need more drawer depth.
Where can I install the Duo on my rack?
Anywhere. Under the top shelf, a middle shelf, or even the bottom shelf at the floor. The Penta can't go on the bottom, but the Duo can.
What kinds of things will fit in it?
The drawer is about 17 inches wide, 11 inches deep, and 2 inches tall. That's plenty of room for stylus brushes, record clamps, stylus cleaning fluid, USB drives, spare RCA cables, AV remotes, headphone adapters, and similar small accessories. Big remotes (universal/learning models) usually fit, too.
What's the power cord hole for?
It lets you run a power cable through the back of the drawer. So you can stash a phone charger, a Bluetooth dongle, a small wall-wart power supply — anything that needs to stay plugged in while it lives in the drawer. Out of sight, still working.
Does the Duo Drawer fit my Vulcan X-Brace rack?
Pangea's official compatibility list mentions the standard Vulcan Audio Rack and the Vulcan TT Turntable Stand. The X-Brace rack uses the same shelf mounting system, so it should fit, but we'd recommend calling us at 800-942-0220 to confirm before you order — better to check than to be surprised.
How do I install it?
Pretty simple. Remove the shelf above where you want the drawer. Slide the steel side supports over the existing threaded rods of your rack. Set the shelf back in place and hand-tighten the side tubes. That's it. About 10 minutes, no tools needed.
Does it come in finishes other than black?
The Duo Drawer is only available in matte black. The black wraps the drawer face, so it looks clean against any of the four Vulcan shelf finishes (Black, Carbon Fiber, Rosenut, and Espresso).
Does the drawer slide all the way out?
Almost. Thanks to the triple-slider bracket, you can reach nearly the entire depth of the drawer when it's pulled open. So nothing gets stuck or forgotten in the back.
How does it hold up over time?
The drawer body is dense MDF wrapped in tough vinyl that resists scratches, scuffs, and most spills. The slides are metal ball-bearings — built for thousands of pulls. With normal use, it should last as long as your rack.
Are returns easy if it doesn't fit?
Yes. Audio Advisor offers a 60-day money-back guarantee. If it's not right for your setup, send it back. Just keep the original packaging.
